A secure position is so important. If you can't control your own body, how are you going to influence the horse properly?
I am available for the following:
Comprehensive Training ProgrammesThese are for those riders who treat riding seriously and want to see how good they can get! You do not have to compete to have a training programme written for you but those most challenging incorporate competition schedules on the relevant level. A programme is in the form of weekly, monthly and yearly training plan for you and your horse(s). Included in a Programme are: written guidelines for a fitness programme for yourself, a schooling schedule for your horse(s), videoed training sessions (minimum once a week), weekly analysis of your progress (based on video recording and training sessions), suggested competition schedule etc. An integral part of any of these Programmes is a series of tasks concentrated on self-assessment and reflection on your progress. Any programme can include any (or all) of the following:- One-to-one training sessions for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders. Lessons are tailor-made and planned to improve your skills and knowledge. They can be filmed and the analysis of your riding arranged in the form of theory sessions.
- Lunge lessons These are for riders at ALL levels. They target your weakest points and strengthen the good ones. Your horse must be over 5yrs old and suitable for lunging. Lunge lessons can be part of a longer, progressive riding plan and can be alternated with any other lessons. They can be concentrated solely on flatwork and dressage seat as well as be a tool to improve your jumping skills and stickability! Jumping without reins and/or stirrups is a fabulous exercise that takes your feel, concentration, reflex and coordination to the highest level.
- Group lessons/Semi private lessonsIf you have a group of friends with whom you would like to share your sessions, I am happy to teach you as a group. Those lessons might be a bit longer so each of you gets as much attention and learning opportunities as possible.
Jumping sessions
These sessions can also be filmed and your progress analysed. They can be tailored to improve your technique by carefully planned gridwork sessions. All levels welcome. Whether you have only started thinking about learning to jump or you are already happily jumping BSJA courses, there are always things you and your horse can improve.- Any other lessons are also possible. Feel free to give me a call or send me an email with a description of your training needs.
